Rasant 120 is a polyester/cotton core-spun sewing thread from AMANN. Its construction combines a strong polyester filament core with an outer layer of cotton fibres, giving the thread strength and abrasion resistance while retaining a smooth, textile-like surface.
AMANN specifies Rasant 120 as Tex 24 and recommends needle size Nm 70 or above. The thread is designed for applications including closing and topstitch seams and matt embroidery, while its fine, versatile construction also makes it a popular choice for quilting and general sewing.
