About Australiana Fabrics

Australiana fabric draws on familiar Australian subjects, including native animals, birds, flowers and botanical designs. This collection includes quilting cotton, fabric panels, wide backing fabric and selected dressmaking fabrics.

Most of the range is printed on 100% cotton, with a smaller selection of cotton stretch fabrics. Use the filters to narrow the collection by product type, composition, width, weight, theme, designer or brand.

Quilting cotton is suited to patchwork, appliqué, bags, accessories and homewares. Panels work well for projects built around a feature image, while extra-wide fabric is a practical choice for quilt backing.

For repeating fabrics, check the scale reference image on the product page where provided. For panels, the product image shows the complete panel design and the panel dimensions are listed in the product specifications.

How is Australiana fabric sold?

Fabric is typically priced and sold in 50 cm units. When more than one unit is ordered, it will be cut as one continuous length whenever possible. Fabric panels are sold individually.
