Koala Fabrics is based in Pakenham, Victoria, Australia. We are an online-only fabric store and ship Australia-wide and internationally.

We know it’s easy to forget something when placing an order! If you’d like to add to your order, here’s what you need to know:

1. Before Placing a Second Order:
   Please Contact Us before placing another order. We can often edit your first order to include the new items and save you extra shipping costs.
2. After Placing a Second Order:
   Once an order has been placed, we’re unable to combine it with another. Keeping orders separate helps us avoid delays or mistakes during busy periods.

You can order as little as 50cm to check if the fabric meets your needs before placing a larger order.

We offer standard and express shipping options within Australia. Shipping costs are a flat rate of $12.20 for standard and $15.60 for express. International shipping costs will vary based on your location. All orders are sent by Australia Post and include tracking.

Standard shipping within Australia typically takes 2–6 business days, while express shipping may take 1–3 business days.

Yes, we ship internationally. Delivery times depend on destination. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes.

We do not offer local pick-up as we do not have a physical store that customers can visit.

Change of mind:
We want you to be happy with your order. If you change your mind, fabric can be returned within 14 days of delivery as long as it is unwashed and in its original condition. Please contact us for return instructions.

Faulty or incorrect items:
We honour your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If there is an issue with your order, please get in touch and we’ll help resolve it for you.

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, Afterpay, PayPal Pay in 4, Apple Pay, and Google Pay

To maintain the quality and longevity of your fabrics, we recommend gentle washing with cold water, air drying.

Our fabric is sold by the unit, with each unit representing 50cm of fabric. For example, if you add 1 unit to your cart, you will receive 50cm of fabric. Adding 2 units will give you 1 metre, 3 units will give you 1.5 metres, and so on. The price listed on our website is per 50cm unit. Fabric will be provided to the customer in a continuous length.

Another way our fabrics are sold is by the panel. Each panel has specific dimensions, which are detailed in the product description.

Please note that colours may vary slightly from what you see on your screen due to different monitor settings. We strive to ensure our photos are as accurate as possible, but there can be some variation.

To help you gauge the scale of the printed design, we either include a ruler in the product images or provide detailed scale information in the product description. Be sure to check these details to ensure the fabric meets your needs.

Yes, some of our fabrics are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OEKO-TEX certified. You can search for these terms on our website to find certified products.

Pre-order fabrics are special items that are not currently in stock but can be ordered in advance. These fabrics are often exclusive or limited edition. The estimated delivery times for pre-order fabrics are listed on our Preorder Details page. You can browse our available pre-order fabrics pre-order collections.
